Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist being challenged by other students, who are dismissive of his lack of magical ability and mock his martial arts skills, calling them 'cheap' and due to his 'fallen family'. Despite the academy's rule against using magic indoors, the students use small artifacts to attack him. The protagonist, not intimidated, chooses to fight them and it's revealed he used to be a mercenary, so the encounter doesn't scare him.
