Synopsis

A patient arrives at the White Dragon Clinic with a complex open leg fracture after falling off a horse. The Hwaju Clinic members, present as guests, insist on amputation to save the patient's life, referencing standard medical practice. The protagonist, noticing the incident is deviating from a novel he knows, believes that amputation is not necessary. He proposes to the Wangya, the patient’s guardian, that he can save the leg, prompting the chapter to end on a cliffhanger.
