Synopsis

The chapter introduces the third floor of the Tower of Trials, a black fortress siege defense. The protagonist encounters a merchant, Crow, who explains the rules: defend three bases against monster waves coming from a wormhole. The protagonist learns they can purchase upgrades and that the trial can be done in a team, but because they are impatient and no other teammates are present, they decide to start the trial solo using summoned undead and turrets to help. They then face the first wave, consisting of trolls which are more difficult than expected.
