Synopsis

This chapter opens with a fierce fight against a Head Ogre boss monster. After the defeat, Fenrir, the protagonist's demon companion, reveals its Soul Gluttony ability and consumes the Ogre's soul to grow stronger. The protagonist learns more about the implications of this skill. Later in the chapter, another battle erupts, forcing the protagonist to use powerful abilities to protect the others. After defeating the monster, the protagonist downplays Fenrir's efforts before praising the action.
