Synopsis

The chapter begins with a conversation about a potentially poisoned tea, where a character reveals her knowledge of the "Spirit Bane Herb" and its deadly effects when combined with a "Void Spirit Root." She also explains how it was intended for the protagonist and her motivation is vengeance for her dead brother. The narrative then shifts to the reveal of her being connected to the Five Lightning Sect destruction and ultimately the protagonist is challenged to reveal their power.
