Synopsis

A young boy, seemingly from the Mount Hua Sect, is tasked with bringing food to an isolated old man. The old man, initially thought to be a retired elder, is revealed to be Yeom Se-Ak, a notorious demon monarch who has lost his memory. The boy's naive admiration and pleas for guidance trigger a flood of memories and existential questions in the old man, leading him to reconsider his past actions and motivations, especially how those fit with the current world. The chapter concludes with the old man starting down a path of self-reflection and potentially even change, prompted by the young boy.
