Synopsis

Penelope is poisoned at her coming-of-age ceremony, leaving her in a critical state where she even spits up blood. Marquis Verdandi steps in with a temporary antidote, saving her life until a doctor arrives. The blame is placed on Yvonne, whose maid is linked to the poisoning, but the Duke orders Derrick to not get involved, hinting that there might be more to the situation than meets the eye.
