Synopsis

The protagonist is approached by Jazgal Woon, who proposes an alliance to protect the Orthodox Murim but is rebuffed. The protagonist then encounters an old enemy resurrected through a forbidden sorcery, involving the sacrifice of children. The resurrected foe, having anticipated a confrontation, challenges the protagonist to a fight to determine who is the strongest, setting up a major conflict.
