Synopsis

A widespread rumor is causing the main character and her party to struggle with public perception. They must investigate and clear their name despite a lack of personal desire to address the rumor directly. The characters debate about the succession, revealing different desires and values, with the third young lord challenging the idea of succession and calling for a formal contest to be held. The first young lord is also placed in the crosshairs of the plot.
