Synopsis

The chapter opens with a discussion of demonic arts and then shifts to the Demon Lord declaring an early successor selection, bypassing the traditional Mara Festival. The First Young Lord is later confronted by the Demon Lord about his flawed understanding of demonic arts, revealing that his internal wound is not healing correctly due to his mixed martial arts techniques. The Demon Lord then gives the Young Lord a lesson on emotions, humanity and how it connects to mastering demonic arts, and a cryptic lesson comparing essence absorption techniques with his own use of natural energies, ultimately emphasizing constant improvement regardless of method.
