Synopsis

The chapter opens with sword palace members inexplicably attacking each other, causing widespread chaos. It's revealed that a mythical, disaster-incarnating creature is responsible for the madness. One particular swordsman, whose injuries are rapidly healing, is forced to confront a powerful enemy who has a seemingly perfect balance of inner energy, martial arts, and body. The swordsman reflects on his own lack of balance and fear of death, questioning his priorities as he faces an attack that could kill him.
