Synopsis

The chapter begins with the Demon Lord selecting Ji Kanghyun as his disciple, seemingly overlooking his past transgressions. Meanwhile, an investigator uncovers the crimes committed by both Ji Kanghyun and his younger brother, Ji Younghyun, using a hallucination powder to extract a confession. He then confronts the family head with evidence of their crimes and pushes him to choose between family honor and revealing the truth, hoping to preserve the family's name by confessing at the upcoming festival.
