Synopsis

A young character facing a group, seemingly enemies, makes a declaration about knowing when he needs to die, followed by an ambush. He is saved by a group of four skilled individuals, who introduce themselves as Joaquin, Romavac, and Jannaka. They explain they are mercenaries, and speak of the dangerous "Mortal Land," a war-torn wasteland filled with undead, hinting at the world's history.
