Synopsis

The chapter focuses on Yan's meticulous three-day effort to dig an escape tunnel in an abandoned toilet, using his enhanced vision in the dark. He narrowly avoids detection when an instructor catches a whiff of waste on him and also completes gathering tools necessary for his escape. Just as he thinks he's in the clear, another trainee discovers Yan's hidden tunnel, indicating the escape plan may be in jeopardy and that they may know what he is up to.
