Synopsis

Rudiger, who is undercover as a professor, is contacted by someone calling herself Esmeralda, who asks him to help her counteract the chaos caused by rogue magicians. This encounter leads to an agreement of contract under codenames, and a new character named Henry Presto, a friend of Proiden, attempts to recruit another student named Renei for a part time job. Renei suspects Henry may be dangerous, like she does with Proiden, despite the lack of ill intent and senses that Professor Rudiger has a mix of sorrow and guilt in the air. The chapter also hints that Rudiger is being investigated due to past actions and suspicious behavior.
