Synopsis

The chapter opens with discussions about Professor Rudiger's surprisingly well-crafted exam, which draws comparisons to Professor Benimone. Professor Benimone himself feels challenged, leading to an exchange between the Chancellor and the protagonist. Meanwhile, an ongoing investigation stalls, and the protagonist is revealed to be masking his magical abilities, and also the chapter reveals that three students from the protagonist's class were captured by the police after getting involved in a commission. The chapter ends with Professor Rudiger beginning the first test, and then giving Renie the book back that she had returned.
