Synopsis

Aidan, who initially seems unremarkable, gets into a conflict with Jevan after Jevan insults his friends. This escalates to Aidan challenging Jevan to a magic duel, which surprisingly, Professor Rudiger allows, and proposes a bet with another professor about the outcome. The chapter also explores the concept of single-element magic and introduces a mysterious ability Aidan possesses relating to detecting good and evil.
