Synopsis

The chapter starts with a flashback of how the princess came to have Mandevina as her servant; a former member of a rebellious group she'd captured. The princess reveals a secret history of the kingdom and how it was artificially superimposed over a previous civilization through a massacre and historical revision. The Liberators are revealed to be the threat, aiming to attack the visiting students and faculty, and plans are made to investigate the underground waterways where they are believed to be hiding while protecting the visitors.
