Synopsis

Ophelia is confronted by her old acquaintance Balzark, who has come to investigate the 'Blood Hook' incident. Balzark reveals he gave Ronan the essence of fresh blood, explaining his search for Jarodin and his intention to have Ronan become a rival. He departs, acknowledging Ophelia's feelings about the past, and hinting at another encounter with the growing stronger Ronan in the future.
