Synopsis

The chapter shifts between two key conversations. One features a character being told about "Shadow Mana," a power-up potentially linked to them, with the mysterious speaker offering their support. The other is a flashback where Adeshan shares his traumatic past with Ronan. He explains how his village was sacrificed during a war due to incompetent leadership, leading to his determination to become Grand Commander to prevent such needless deaths in the future and become a perfect leader. This also prompts another character's determination to help, because they also don't want to lose anyone to meaningless sacrifices again.
