Synopsis

The chapter depicts a tense confrontation where the protagonist is pressured by a powerful and sadistic woman who seeks to recruit him, threatening the life of a rescued elf. He refuses her offer. Simultaneously, a former comrade reveals himself and thanks the protagonist, also mentioning that they were previously captured at an orc village and have now crossed the barrier. The enemy appears to be aware of the protagonists actions and motivations, having observed his activities, and continues to try and manipulate him into joining their order.
