Synopsis

After a brief period of peace, the group prepares to depart, with an elf expressing his admiration for their kindness. However, the conversation shifts to the dangers of the forest and an upcoming orc raid, further complicated by talk of religious fanatics and their pursuit of a 'star's advent' which hints at a great calamity. Ronan is given a tea to help with his curse, learning that his method of using his cursed eye is harmful, and then he is faced with his past, possibly a past life. The chapter ends with Sarante revealing an ancient ritual involving moving divine boulders.
