Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist bringing a rare material to a master blacksmith, Elder Arf, who is renowned for his skills and lives in a hidden forge beneath the capital. After the protagonist is introduced and shows an impressive display of sword skills, it is revealed that the protagonist is an apprentice of Nabirose, whom Elder Arf made a famous sword for. Elder Arf realizes the protagonist is too talented for typical swords and says he will need to use a specific type of material and smelting process to make a suitable blade for him.
