Synopsis

The chapter begins with the aftermath of a massacre, with characters discovering the scene and encountering a mysterious, blood-soaked egg. The egg hatches to reveal a small dragon-like creature with blood-absorption powers. This creature quickly heals Ronan of his injuries, showing healing abilities and seems to bond with him. The chapter ends with the creature suddenly disappearing and sensing an incoming presence.
