Synopsis

The chapter opens with a tense standoff with bandits mistaken for the Stronghold, which turns into an attack by the actual Stronghold. Meanwhile, the protagonist is pressured into a political marriage for power consolidation due to his possession of the Blood Demon Sword, and he learns about his limited support compared to two female sect leaders. He reveals he kissed and likes a girl connected to the Four Evils to deter the marriage, all while being targeted by the Stronghold.
