Synopsis

The chapter opens with a family dispute where a returning outcast brother, Jangyoon, is attacked by a drunken family member. A visiting martial arts disciple, Mayling, intervenes to protect Jangyoon and breaks the arm of his attacker. Meanwhile, another storyline follows Soh Yungjung, the eldest daughter of the family, who is preparing for a martial arts competition to avoid a forced marriage. This competition and the familial tension are shown alongside the return of Jangyoon to the family, creating multiple points of conflict and tension within the narrative.
