Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist musing over an artifact he acquired before his regression, connecting it to the Emperor and immortality, raising more questions than answers. He is then interrupted by a student, Liam Stone, who implores him to become his subordinate, seemingly abandoning his previous allegiance. The protagonist, skeptical of Liam's intentions, agrees to take him in after testing Liam's resolve and willingness to endure a strike from the protagonist.
